The Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium provides a forum for students to present their research that has been guided by faculty in poster or oral presentation formats. The Symposium has grown from a gathering of about 40 students in its first year to around 900 student presenters at last year's event. This high energy event showcases the work of our most motivated students, working on many exciting research projects across disciplines. Students not yet engaged in research are encouraged to attend to learn more about getting involved. We hope you and your students will participate in this year's event.

All accepted student abstracts will be published in the Symposium proceedings. Faculty mentors will be listed along with their students' abstracts in the Proceedings and will be acknowledged at the presentation sessions. The presentation sessions are intended to stimulate discussion among presenters, faculty mentors, and the general audience. A faculty moderator will lead discussion in the session. If you wish to serve as a session moderator, please e-mail the Undergraduate Research Program.

Faculty mentors are strongly encouraged to attend the sessions and to assist their students with presentation practice or poster design, particularly students who have not yet presented their work for a general audience.
